Should Trendy Latte Coffee Shops Also Sell Alcohol?

Interestingly, a very good business model happens to be coffee shops that also sell alcohol in the evening. It kind of makes sense that a hybrid store that sells coffee and beer and wine will work. In many regards caffeine and alcohol and it seems that things that people use to alter your state of mind.

Not so long ago, I was in one of the few trendy local cafe latte, and it was quite busy. I got to speak to someone and said he would like to open a cafe one day too, as he basically said that caffeine was nothing more than drugs. From a philosophical point of view, it is probably true, caffeine is a stimulant, but what he was getting at was the fact that people are addicted to caffeine. A sell people something they had was really, probably a good way to ensure repeat visits.

It's hard to say whether the concept of selling alcohol in bars will ever catch on. I am sure that the parents probably do not like the idea, because kids hang out and bars, especially the trendy types. And obviously it makes no sense to turn teenage drinking coffee in alcoholics. We have enough of the kind of problems but in our society. But from a business standpoint, it certainly makes sense to sell coffee and alcohol, and everyone else, if you want to keep the shareholders equity and increase profits.

In fact, last month there was an interesting article in the food section of USA Today titled "Sonic, Burger King, other fast food chains selling alcohol," Bruce Horovitz, who opened with the next leader of the paragraph, "trip to the fast-food joint that was once all about burgers and fries is all about something that might require you to make your Flash ad beer and wine ."

and the article also hosted picture "Opening Sonic in Homestead, Florida, one of two Florida Sonics begin serving beer and wine, later this summer ."

Why do you ask? It's simple, really is Bruce Horovitz places like this,

"In an attempt to strengthen the business, two Sonic restaurants in South Florida will soon sell beer and wine. The move follows the Burger King" whopper bars "recently opened in Miami, Las Vegas and Kansas City that sell beer. Starbucks recently began serving local beer and wine at several Seattle stores ."

It seems in some cases it would not make much sense, this new approach, but I'm pretty sure it will be people against it, like madd (Mothers Against Drunk driver) and I can certainly understand their point. However, I understand that consumers and buyers will probably like the idea that beer or glass of wine with your meal, especially in the evening. Perhaps it could be something that only sells four or five? And if the price was cheaper than going to the local watering hole, bar, maybe people will go to a coffee shop or fast food restaurants to kill two birds with one stone?

It will be interesting to see how it plays in the future, but this is a trend worth watching. It will be interesting to see how the local government, Spatial Planning and the liquor license to deal in the future. Indeed I hope that you will please consider all this and think of.
